Beginning Paper Piecing
Beginning Paper Piecing- This is an introductory class to the art of paper piecing. If you are intimidated by the thought of paper piecing, then this class is for you. You will create an 8 inch block and practice this technique which is used to create precise points and shapes for dramatic effects in your quilts.

| Requirements: | Fabric: Two 2 1/2" strips background fabric Three coordinating 2 1/2" strips Strips available for purchase from instructor Basic Sewing Supplies: Sewing Machine in good working order (with extra needles) Scissors or thread snips AND seam ripper Straight pins Rotary cutter, mat and acrylic ruler 6"x12" 100% cotton thread, off-white or other neutral color 6" Add-a-Quarter Ruler 6"x3" Template Plastic Elmer's Glue Stick |
