Christmas Dresden Wreath

This design plate quilt pattern was first published in the 1930's, but the quilt itself debuted in the 1920's. The pattern is named after the the city of Dresden, Germany, which became known for it's porcelain plates decorated with flowers, fruits, & foliage during the Victorian era.

| Requirements: | Basic sewing supplies: Sewing machine and attachments, Thread, Fabric scissors, Rotary cutter, Cutting mat, Seam ripper, Straight pins, Stiletto, 6" X 12" Acrylic ruler, Applique foot for machine, Permanent marking pen, & Invisible thread. Fabric Requirements: 2/3 yard background, 5- 1/4 yard medium to dark green fabric, 3/8 yard for border and bow, 3/4 yard for border and binding, Backing 30" square, & Batting 30" square. |
