Braided Table Runner

This table runner will make a lovely addition to your table setting whether you use seasonal fabrics or your favorite every day dining room or kitchen colors. Fabric requirements are minimal, and you may already have what you need in your stash!

Requirements: | Size: 14” x 42” Fabric Requirements: (10% discount on fabric required for class if purchased in store; proof of class registration required) One fat quarter for center joining squares and setting triangles (choose a contrasting solid or blender to match your 2-1/2” braid strips 11 strips of a variety of prints (2-1/2” wide by WOF – Width Of Fabric) The sample was done using Timeless Tonga Treat Harvest jelly roll strips and coordinating batik fabrics. You may have leftover 2-1/2” strips from a previous project that will go together, or you can cut your own WOF strips Border Fabric: 1/3 yard Binding: 1/3 yard Basic Supplies: Sewing Machine in good working order (with extra needles) Scissors or thread snips AND seam ripper Straight pins Rotary cutter, mat and acrylic ruler (6” x 12” recommended) 12” square up ruler (a few will be available to borrow in class) 100% cotton thread, off-white or other neutral color (gray if using dark fabrics) |
