Requirements: | Fabric Requirements: (10% discount on fabric required for class if purchased in store; proof of class registration required) Background- ¾ yard Flower petals- ½ yard each of two colors Flower stems- ¼ yard each of two colors Flower center- one 2½” strip Center stripe- 5/8 yard Bias Binding 5/8 yard Backing 1½ yard Basic Supplies: Dahlia Placemats pattern by Quiltworx Sewing Machine in good working order with extra needles, foot pedal and plug Fabric scissors or thread snips, seam ripper 100% cotton thread, white or other coordinating color Rotary cutter, mat and acrylic ruler 6”x 12” or larger Add-a-Quarter ruler (6” or 12” is fine) Elmer’s Glue stick Template plastic (at least 3”x 6”) |
